One Piece Chapter 1083 just leaked on the website TCB scans, and it gives more questions than answers.
The Egghead Island Arc, which has been ongoing for 25 chapters now, has been more interesting and exciting than ever. Now that the series is in its final stretch, author, Eiichiro Oda, has ramped up the stakes and the conflict. In the past 25 chapters we've seen developments from the 4 emperors, the former warlord pirates, the Navy, and the world government as a whole. In the recent chapters, we've seen action from the revolutionary army.
What happened at the Reverie?
The Reverie, the meeting of all world leaders which occurs every 4 years, has just occurred in the One Piece world. The revolutionary army, the people trying to overthrow their corrupt rule, infiltrated the holy city of Mariejois. A problem occurred though, the revolutionary commander, Sabo, was framed for killing the fair king Cobra of the Alabasta kingdom. In the current chapter, Sabo has finally returned to the headquarters of the revolutionaries to give his side of the story. a flashback begins once he starts to speak, and it shows a battle between 2 admirals from the navy and the revolutionary army commanders. It then cuts to king Cobra sitting on a throne and giving commands to his army commanders to protect his daughter. After that scene the chapter ends.
What could happen next?
I have a couple of theories of what could happen next in the story. I think that Cobra was killed by the king who sits on the empty throne, Imu. Furthermore, I also think that Sabo was framed as a way to give the revolutionary army a bad reputation. Anyway, I'm excited to see what will happen next week and this chapter will definitely be discussed this entire week online.
