Ever since the moment he was first introduced, people have loved the gullible and naive reindeer. Yet, a large portion of readers have gotten disappointed in Chopper's character development. I myself have gotten frustrated and disappointed with Chopper's character.
One of the main reasons I and many others dislike Chopper is his lack of pursuing his dream. When Chopper was first introduced, he claimed he was going to be "A doctor that can cure any disease". Despite what he claimed, he has only cured a handful of diseases throughout the story and is usually relegated to "the guy who heals Zoro when he's on the verge of death”.
Another reason why Chopper is the worst Straw hat is his treatment in the story. He has become nothing more than a mascot. All he does is sit there and look cute while having no change and no meaningful impact in the story. He only shows up and creates a new drug every 200 chapters, and then just sits there and eats cake.
In conclusion, Chopper is the worst straw hat due to his lack of substance as a character and his minimal impact in the story.
I agree, I utterly despise and hate chopper with all my heart, however I think chopper was always bad due to his annoying ass voice and wanting to go to the "Little boys room".
